Dr. Carol Greider, an AAUW member, were honored for her work in the field of medicine, an honor they shared with colleagues Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn and Dr. Jack W. Szostak. The three doctors were recognized for their work with chromosomes, which plays a vital role in the development of new therapies for cancer treatments.
